The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-bout fight which will be shown in real-time on the streaming platform.
Briton Joshua said he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the combatants confronted each other to publicize next month's heavyweight fight.
Ex two-time unified title holder Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive mismatch - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Fighter's Attitude
"I plan to injure his face and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, stated.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I intend to really want to cause him pain. That's my intention."
Civil Exchange
In spite of those words, a calm Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally famous for his theatrics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul rather targeted former Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "a joke" after the Cameroonian declined a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, criticized UK opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he's present here," Joshua commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mostly fought MMA fighters or faded names since turning professional.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.
Commercial Success
Still, the relative newcomer remains one of the sport's largest commercial attractions, consistently making huge paydays.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28-year-old predicted a stoppage in round four or five and claimed he would derail the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly being planned for 2026.
"It will be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.
Physical Difference
As the two fighters engaged in the traditional confrontation, with their size difference clearly visible, it drove home just how surprising this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is truly proceeding.
